About
Jealous is bringing their print studio down into their gallery space at Jealous East, continuing to work on their printing projects live to the public. The Live Printing Show will show case to visitors the fine process and skills involved in producing artist screenprint editions, with an open chance for them to engage with the printing staff themselves with any questions about the process.
On display will also be a large array of works published exclusively through Jealous, including those previously live printed off site at exhibitions and art fairs, such as Moniker, London Original Print Fair and the Affordable Art Fair at various locations.
Since first opening in 2008, Jealous Print Studio has continued to grow rapidly through their innovative, collaborative and hands on approach in developing high-quality print editions with the artists. The team members being active artists and print makers themselves has played a vital role in the studio’s success, leading to work with highly established artists including Gavin Turk, Gary Hume, David Shrigley, Ben Eine, Charming Baker, Jessica Albarn, The Connor Brothers and many more.
Jealous Print Studio is operated by artist and print makers Matthew Rich, Adam Bridgland, Nick Terry, Jess Wilson, Danny Augustine, William Kingett, Joss Fennand Bench Allen, all bringing their strong creative initiatives to the table. The team will be printing various current projects including yet to be seen artists editions exclusive to Jealous, and this years’ Jealous Needs You submissions, which is anticipated to be shown at the Saatchi Gallery in early 2017. New prints will be produced daily throughout the show period and put on display, allowing visitors to see an ever-changing collection of editions coming fresh off the press on a constant basis.
