The exhibit brings together some of the most original work exploring the human form, created by both local and international artists and all finalists of the second edition of Le Grand Nu contest.
About
Reinterpreted in various styles throughout history, the human figure celebrates its return with artists such as Jenny Saville and Shane Wolf. As the human figure continues to both inspire and challenge many artists, we are delighted to present the “Le Grand Nu” exhibition. The exhibit brings together some of the most original work exploring the human form, created by both local and international artists and all finalists of the second edition of Le Grand Nu contest. The exhibit presents a wide range of interpretations of the human figure, from representational to abstract, and is a must-see for all those interested in the nude.
Join us for the exhibition preview on Saturday 10 November, 6pm - 9pm.
The exhibition will be open from 11 to 18 November, 11am - 8pm. The name of the grand prize winner will be announced during the vernissage.
About the competition: Le Grand Nu is an international juried competition hosted annually by Untitled Factory Gallery in Paris, with a focus on the nude. It’s also the only competition in Paris focusing purely on human form.
About the gallery: Untitled Factory is located in one of Paris’ most charming and artistic neighbourhoods – Montmartre. We focus on figurative art with a special emphasis on human form and show works from both established as well as up-and-coming artists.
