About
Please join us for the launch of the 'Constructing Communities' one-to-one installations, talks, debates, and other events for our summer Late Tuesday. The evening will host the LFA’s Charles Knevitt Memorial Debate: ‘Community Architecture Now’ (supported by VM Zinc), chaired by Rod Hackney (a founder of the community architecture movement), with Robert Adam (ADAM Architecture), Sarah Wigglesworth Architects (Sarah Wigglesworth Architects), Peter Runacres (Argent) and artist Rebecca Davies.*
Sponsors of the Open Call, Cityscape Digital, will present projects in digital form using some of the latest VR headsets including the HTC Vive and Oculus Rift, and on-screen.
Sponsors of the Late Tuesday evening, Blurb Books, will present a talk ‘From Bricks to Books’ by Anthony Hoete, Director of WHAT_ architecture. Come for a drink and to listen, see, debate and celebrate community throughout the whole of RIBA’s 66 Portland Place.
*Please ensure to book a separate ticket for this free event via this link to secure your place, which includes entry to the Late Tuesday. Supported by VMZinc.
