Be part of an exciting event this summer helping to create a miniature clay settlement in the grounds of Carmarthenshire Museum in Abergwili.
About
Join Oriel Myrddin Gallery for an exciting exploration of 3D mapping, climate change, flooding and earth science. Learn about the past, present and future of the landscape with The Tywi Gateway Project. This project takes inspiration from Freshwest’s installation The Building Project (at Oriel Myrddin Gallery January - March 2019) and our current exhibition Land Acts.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the museum grounds. Ice-creams and drinks are available at the Museum.
20 and 21 August 11am – 4pm
Come and make a clay building to place on our 3D map of the Tywi valley.
22 August 11am – 1pm
Join us for a series of interventions where we will flood our clay settlement exploring the effects of differing sea level rises and flood events.
