The Annual Art Hub Charity Postcard Show & Auction is back for its fourth year, with a fresh selection of original postcards to purchase with proceeds going towards two amazing art focused charities.

About

As usual the show and auction take place over the first May Bank Holiday Weekend with a big old opening party on Friday 29 April with Bar, DJs and Best In Show competition – judged by Mali Morris R.A and Peter Clossick N.E.A.C. The auction is your chance to bid on postcard-sized artwork by both recognised and emerging artists, while also supporting two fantastic local charities. It’s the perfect opportunity to get your hands on original artwork at affordable prices. Auction is open to everyone all Bank Holiday weekend and the highest bid on each postcard wins. Bidding is done in secret, by filling in a form with your name, number and bid then handing it into one of the Gallery team. You can bid on as many postcards as you like.

This year, we’ve picked two Charities where art therapy is a core part of their focus in supporting people's wellbeing and mental health. Arts Network is a supportive and welcoming space for people with severe and enduring mental health needs. Participants are encouraged to explore their creativity, learn new skills, engage in exhibitions and most importantly have fun! Age exchange provides training and support services for people and their carers living with dementia. Their unique Reminiscence Arts programme uses the creative exploration of memories to unlock and connect the past, the present and the future.
