ALICE KEEN is an exceptional painter who has exhibited at THE HEPSIBAH GALLERY pretty much every year since its inception and I am excited and proud to say that Alice has asked me to show alongside her - to share the exhibition.
Alice's new work shows all the exuberance and freedom of her early work mixed now with a cerebral and intuitive aspect giving the work a rather startling power. This is an artist who has found herself, I always knew she had exceptional work in her and this is the start. I recommend you come along to witness this.

For my part - as well as curating this show - I have chosen to exhibit quiet inkstudies and alongside my usual dog studies I will be showing drawings made from days working in the new sculpture galleries at the V and A...an idea inspired by the classical pen and inks at the Scottish show at The Wallace Collection
