About

Kay van-Bellen is an artist and illustrator whose work explores the playful yet sinister side of story telling. Eccentric, quirky characters and animals are playfully placed in surreal environments, enticing the viewer's imagination. Kay's charming, graphic style she describes as ‘fast and restless' has led to commissions for Converse, Pizza Express, British Telecom and Boots plc to name a few. She has most recently collaborated with Universal Works Menswear on a range of t-shirts and accessories. The showcase, currently on display in Yorkshire Sculpture Park's shop, represents a new body of work that has been specifically created for YSP entitled 'Everything and Nothing'. Enjoy late night shopping until 8pm on the 20th November and 11th December
