In the gallery this week, we present: Kay Gordon.
DUMBO-based artist Kay Gordon explores the balance of chaos and order, and the dependency of one object’s juxtaposition to the next to reveal its form or create its existence in her work. She works in drawing, sculpture and installation. Her work has been exhibited internationally including at MOMA PS1, Hillyer Art Space (Washington, DC), Gallery Shoshinkan (Nagano, Japan) and Galerie R31 (Berlin, Germany). She is currently a professor at the City University of New York at Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn.
