In June we will be holding a series of three short selling exhibitions showing unique work and editions by Turner Prize shortlisted artists Cornelia Parker and Langlands & Bell and prize-winning sculptor Kenny Hunter, all of whom have produced editions for The Multiple Store:
Cornelia Parker: Wednesday 9 June to Saturday 12 June
Langlands & Bell: Wednesday 16 June to Saturday 19 June
Kenny Hunter: Wednesday 22 June to Saturday 26 June
This is an opportunity for collectors to see Multiple Store editions alongside and in the context of unique work by the artists, and to buy these at current prices before the end of our residency at Westbrook Gallery on 31 July 2010.
An exhibition of Cornelia Parker's meteorite projects launches the programme on 9 June; followed by an exhibition by Langlands & Bell featuring their prints of airline routes of the UK and exquisite laser-etched crystal glass cube showing the airline routes of the world. The final show will be by Kenny Hunter, recent winner of the first Spitalfields Sculpture Prize and featuring his controversial cast resin busts of Osama bin Laden and Monica Lewinsky from 1998 along with recent prints and sculptures.
All work will be for sale. During the exhibitions, the other
editions we have commissioned since 1998 will be available to view in the downstairs gallery.
