Joseph Long: Celestial Body, Spiritual Earth

About

Niagara Falls Projects is pleased to present an exhibition of new works by Joseph Long. The title of the exhibition Celestial Body, Spiritual Earth is taken from Henry Corbin's 1977 book on the rituals of floral meditation and psychic reactions. This book provides a starting point for a new body of work that continues Long's enquiry into our relationship with plants and their ever evolving cultural significance. For this exhibition, his paintings will be accompanied by wall-mounted screens, glass tables and botanical publications.
