Born Ontario, Canada 1950.Studied at McMaster University, Hamilton, Canada, 1970 ' 1973.
Exhibited extensively throughout Canada, most recently with Nicholas Metivier Gallery in Toronto. Solo shows in Copenhagen and New York. This is John Hartman's second exhibition at Jill George Gallery.
