On display 25 sculptures dated 1956-2001 which, highlighting the formal investigation, between myth and rituality, have succeeded in grasping the best of modern language.
From the native Peru to Rome, the works of Roca Rey get rid of the pre-magical shell of magic and ritual (assemblage of iron, forged with evident realism and then aluminum, brass, steel, onyx, bronze, marble, travertine) without abandoning the myth found in the most advanced forms of modernity, as if to say the sculpture of Chadwick and Moore, of Hare and of David Smith, the painting of Magritte and Lam, revisited in the architecture of Rome, in its rigor and its emphasis, with a visionary load of disturbances, memories and dreams. Continuous transformations of a fantasy among the most vivid of the sculpture of the last century. Fantasy that allows Roca Rey, in a perennial extension of dualisms, contrasts and ambiguities, made evident also by the choice of the many materials often used together,
