About
he Jerwood Drawing Prize is the country's leading award in the sector and is the largest annual open drawing exhibition in the UK.This year's exhibition was selected by: Paul Bonaventura, Senior Research Fellow in Fine Art Studies, Ruskin School of Drawing & Fine Art, Oxford University; Avis Newman, Artist; and Catherine de Zegher, Art Historian and Curator.
The first prize was awarded to Melanie Jackson for A Global Positioning System (2006). Second prize was awarded to Brighid Lowe for Rain Drawing (1) (2006). Student Prizes were won by Minho Kwon and GSA alumnus Daisy Richardson.
