These works represent a narrative interpretation as a description of an event, a visual image in a real or imaginary story. Of a disposition and order as sustenance of a poetic construction, where the viewer is of as fundamental importance as the container. Taking natural or man-made structures as main elements, which I choose and deform, exploring the possibility of creating a critical debate, an aesthetic working, a seductive and subtle aspect of these pieces. Textures form an important part of the representation. References to the grouping of shapes and colors, allow the perception of irregularities, bringing realism to the work, sometimes of a great visual weight and at the same time of true lightness. Waxes and paraffins are a constant. Worked liquidly and moldably, playing with transparencies and different readings offered. I’m interested in the far and dense aspect that enhances shapes and volumes. Concentrating on the possibility of offering works from crafted and composited techniques, an autonomy of image in an entertainment of dismissal and tension that offers a valve to the work. These are languages of autobiographical construction. The intention is to astonish the spectator without hesitating to show a challenge, a growing dynamic in the action of "doing" and "thinking".
