AboutIn a wide range of media, he conducts an intuitive and anthropological exploration of our daily negotiations of the need to adapt to new conditions while maintaining a connection to our origins. In this major solo show, he follows this trajectory in a series of new works which together form a synthetic environment full of surreal arrangements, doings, and situations. Combining a forward and backward look at our civilization, the works suggest absurd correspondences between the prosaic and spiritual dimensions of existence. While some elements revolve around basic physical necessities such as tools, clothing and food, others address aspects of the mind. In the intersection between nature, culture, and technology the exhibition investigates the needs, longings, and patterns of behaviour that drive our human pursuits and continuous development.
