Judy Stafford of Stafford Gallery is proud to present this major exhibition of recent paintings by Jack Morrocco in association with Wimbledon Fine Art

Jack Morrocco is a master of seeking out the timeless qualities of a place, dappled sunlight, watery reflections, long shadows cast in the morning or late afternoon sun, contrast and warmth, in fact subjects and themes that have remained constant since artists first began to paint out of doors.  Jack has travelled many times to the Mediterranean in the pursuit of new locations and this year we feature the cafes and village squares of Barcelona, St Tropez, Ibiza and the Amalfi coast as well the more familiar villages of Lucca, St Remy, St Paul de Vence and of course Venice.

A superb draughtsman and colourist, as he matures, Jack's impressionist landscape painting style is less concerned with detail but more about the fleeting essence of time and place or an effect of the light evoking a memory, this is what he strives to achieve in his exceptional landscape work.
