A series of events celebrating creative collaborations between artists, academics, researchers and others.
About
Interface is a week-long celebration of creative collaborations between artists, academics, researchers and others. The events programme of online talks, live performance, screenings and interactive sessions showcases interdisciplinary practice and will inspire future collaborations.
Academics from The School of Design and Creative Arts at Loughborough University, along with invited guests, will share interdisciplinary projects they have been involved with as well as events from Radar - Loughborough University's contemporary art programme. Topics covered include storytelling, animation and mental health, how DNA data storage can be used in art commissions, a discussion on the role of the body in sport and performance art, laser technology in textiles art and design and how drawing can work across disciplines.
Most of the events are online and free. Booking is essential.
