About

EXHIBITION PREVIEW 9 JANUARY, 6-8PM

Interbeing explores the interrelationship of the human body and the ‘more than human’ world. Together, artists James Aldridge and Jonathan Mansfield examine the ways that visual arts practice can enable experiences of connection and belonging.

“If you are a poet, you will see clearly that there is a cloud floating in this sheet of paper. Without a cloud, there will be no rain; without rain, the trees cannot grow: and without trees, we cannot make paper. The cloud is essential for the paper to exist. If the cloud is not here, the sheet of paper cannot be here either. So we can say that the cloud and the paper inter-are.” – Thich Nhat Hanh

Artists Talk: Wednesday 22 January, 6:00pm followed by a screening of ‘An Ecology of Mind’ – a filmic portrait of Gregory Bateson, anthropologist, biologist and psychotherapist (£5 entry covers both the artists' talk and film ticket).
