AboutOn Tuesday, 11th June, Cyrus Mahboubian will be present at his current solo exhibition at Rich Mix - Instant Exposure: The Physical Print.
Using key examples from the exhibition, Cyrus will discuss why Polaroid is important to him as a medium, and how his artistic practice has developed through its specific use. Additionally, the artist talk will include information about the development of the instant Polaroid since its invention in 1947 and its unique place in the history of photography.
This event is free of charge, but it is essential to RSVP to email@example.com. Due to limited space in the gallery there will be two sessions, with each limited to just 15 people. Please remember to specify which session you would like to attend when you RSVP.
'Instant Exposure: The Physical Print' and artist talks by Cyrus Mahboubian have been curated by Phoebe Bradford and Abigail Shamah from MA Curating the Contemporary jointly run by Whitechapel Gallery and London Metropolitan University. The exhibition is supported by Rich Mix, Diversity Art Forum and University of East London interns from the Cultural Studies and Creative Industries field."
