In 2009 VIVID launches a three year programme which considers the contributions individuals and their work have made toward contemporary artist's film and video. Inspirations invites five UK based individuals who have played a major role in the critical, artistic and curatorial development of moving image, to select one moving image work that has made a significant impact on their own practice. VIVID is delighted to confirm David Curtis, Catherine Elwes, Malcolm Le Grice, John Smith and Sarah Wood as 2009 selectors. The selections will be presented at VIVID on Sat 07 February 2009 and will be accompanied by a short text by each of the selectors. This series will also include a talks programme.
