About
Inside the Cage explores how mental health and our inner thoughts are negatively impacted daily, by the world in a physical and digital sense. And how bringing these issues to light and calling something out can positively impact us and change our way of thinking for the better. As well as positive thinking the exhibition promotes positive action through fundraising for 'Mind' as a pay it forward for people who are struggling with mental health issues.
It will contain works that reflect on what it feels like to be trapped within negative thoughts caused by the individual, other people or defiance towards 'the man' governments, society or the technology that controls human behaviour.
It includes a number of local artists to get a varied view of how people 'artists' cope with these triggers. It will ft. varied mediums inclu. print, digital, painting, photograpy & graphic design.
