“I’d like to develop a code of inertia for superior souls in modern societies. Society would govern itself spontaneously if it didn’t contain sensitive and intelligent people. You can be sure that they’re the only thing that hinders it.”
Fernando Pessoa: The Book of Disquiet (1982
About
Please join us for Inertia for Superior Souls at the Bargehouse - a group exhibition featuring work by Year 2 BA Fine Art, Photography and Film & Digital Art students from UCA Farnham. Working across various media, from analogue to digital, 2D to 3D, performative to documentary, these emerging practitioners will take on the Bargehouse’s architecture in response to Pessoa’s dark and satirical quote.
Exhibition also features invited Foundation Diploma students from UCA Farnham, especially selected to exhibition alongside undergraduate work.
