Ilona Sagar has a practice spanning performance, film and assemblage that responds to the social, historical and cultural contexts of occupied private and public space. For her new live performance and multimedia installation, Ilona Sagar draws upon references to the scales of language associated to the space of care and emotional labour.
Preview night performances: Tuesday 24 May 6.30-8.30pm
Weekend performances: Saturday 28 - Sunday 29 May
Ilona Sagar is an artist based in London. Her work is featured in The Grounds We Tread exhibition at Pump House Gallery between 24 and 31 May. Recent solo exhibitions include; Haptic Skins of a Glass Eye, Tenderpixel, London, Mute Rehearsal, Vitrine Gallery (2015) and P: MHB, Assembly Passage, LSondon (2014). Sagar has exhibited internationally in group exhibitions with Acadia Missa, Budapest (2015), Firstsite Gallery, Essex (2015), Hayward Gallery Project Space, London (2014).
