About
BA (Hons) Furniture and Product Design, BA (Hons) Product Design, BSc (Hons) Product Design.
This exhibition showcases the originality and experimental nature of our final-year students, through creative lighting that is not only functional, but demonstrates their academic knowledge.
The show will provide visitors with more than aesthetics; combining creativity and innovation with insight into ethical and sustainable design considerations.
The lights are individually designed and manufactured to capture the essence of the University’s forward-facing 2020 strategy, specifically the empowering of individuals to enrich society through working with local, national and international contacts.
The furniture within the show is inspired by the work of London-based ISOKON, established in the 1930s, the company uses both traditional craftsmanship and the tools of modern manufacture to produce iconic designs.
