A solo exhibition of recent works by Ian Houston at Mandell’s Gallery, Norwich 15 – 29 June 2019.

Ian has painted and exhibited worldwide including France, Monaco, the Channel Islands, Bermuda, USA, Australia, Hong Kong and South Africa, but it is his long relationship with East Anglia and Mandell’s Gallery, where he first exhibited in 1970, which is the focus of this exhibition. Featuring East Anglian subjects as well as places Ian has been inspired by in his travels.

Ian Houston Says says “My career as a painter was formed under East Anglian skies.  The special quality of the light and the wonderful forms of the clouds created an awareness of the sky which has never left me, no matter where I am in the world”

Rachel Allen at Mandell’s Gallery says, “We are very excited to be hosting another solo exhibition by Ian Houston and look forward to celebrating our long relationship with him”.
