About

Audience/Performer is a programme of acclaimed film and video works by Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard, who are amongst the UK's leading contemporary artists, working at the edge of performance and new media. Music is a potent device throughout their practice, and they are noted for their ongoing collaborations with musicians, such as Nick Cave and J Spaceman. In 2009, they were invited by Nick Cave to produce Do you love me like I love you, a series of 14 films, each to accompany the remastered releases of his 14 albums. These works create a portrait of each album, personified through the stories and intonation of the people who have loved and lived them. This series of films will be shown at Lighthouse, accompanied by other works of Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard during Brighton Festival.
