About
“I love Italy!” How many times have we heard this sentence? Landscapes, good food, people's warmth, the beauty of monuments and art, which have characterized this nation for centuries, are just some of the things that make Italy one of the most popular destinations of tourists around the world!
In a time when the “Bel Paese” is proven by an unfavorable economic context, wounded and kneeling by the frequency of natural disasters that in the eyes of the world continue to convey the image of a corrupt, fragile, disenchanted nation, the art curator Francesca Callipari propose an event to celebrate Italy and creativity.
"I love Italy" was born as a spontaneous reaction to the immobility and dissatisfaction that actually characterize our country and that lead us to look beyond the borders as if Italy and consequently Italian art had nothing more to do to say ... But a glimmer of light is still there .... There are many artists and creatives of all kinds present on our territory who through their works contribute to keep alive the artistic research. The aim of this event will not only be to give these artists a chance to be known but above all to lead to a deeper reflection on the power of art as a means by which to implement a cultural, economic and social rebirth.
In the exhibition there are works by Giampiero Murgia, Majla Chindamo, Cristina Paladino, Maria Rita Bordonaro, Francesca Sorrentino, Red Aspis, Francesca Ghidini, Francesca Patanè, Manuela Chittolina, Martina Sacheli, Marzia Giacobbe, Prienne, Hanami, Vanda Caminiti, Paolo Graziani, Adina Ungureanu, Silvana Lanza, Mina Mevoli, Donatella Murru, Maria Rosaria Iacobucci.
Also worthy of mention is the presence of a small Sicilian company, the Clarobymaking, a fine example of "made in Italy".
Born in Bagheria, Claobymaking is an entrepreneurial and artistic project conceived by Claudia Clemente and Rosalba Corrao, today in collaboration with Pietro Caramia, which aims to valorize and rediscover the colors and designs typical of the Sicilian tradition through the creation of a collection of clothing and accessories
