The exhibition will take place at the Cornaro Art Institute, Limassol, from 29th - 30th October 2021.

Application deadline: 15th September 2021.

This exhibition is the opening event of a scheduled cultural programme of arts and literature, part of the international conference to be held at the Luiss University, Rome, Italy, initially in 2021, now postponed to May 2022. https://icsah.eu/call-for-papers

The exhibition will take the form of a looped video display for international works, in conjunction with the production of an e-catalogue featuring the extended profiles of participating artists.

Local artists may submit work for physical display: 2D & 3D welcomed.

The selection jury will consist of executive members of ICSAH, the Dante Alighieri Society of Nicosia, and the Cornaro Art Institute, Limassol.

There will be a vernissage on the evening of Friday 29th October 2021; worldwide artists will be able to attend the streamed participation, 18.30 Cyprus local time.

Artists selected to participate will be asked for a €15 contribution to cover production costs.

Human mobility is a building block in historical development, and migrants act as a cultural bond in the exchange of ideas and achievements that shape and re-shape cultural identities throughout history. Whether peaceful or a fruit of conflicts, human migration has led to new inspirations and innovations, while at the same time has caused deterioration and destruction. Hence, we invite to the exhibition works of art that explore the topic of human migration and its consequences in creating cultures and transforming identities.
