A residency programme has been a key part of Abandon Normal Devices festival since it was founded in 2009, providing artists with a test bed for new work as well as giving them the opportunity to collaborate with organisations such as the Forestry Commission, British Waterways and DaDa - Disability and Deaf Arts.
As part of AND 2011 in Liverpool, this event brings together residents Ali Khodr, Fabi Borges, Camila Mello, Kathy Hinde, Matthew Olden and Ailà s Nà Rà ain together with our partner organisations to discuss the opportunities and challenges these residencies create.
