About

Drawing on fantasy and escapism, 50s Hollywood, teenage melodrama and a macabre aesthetic HOMO TEEN SUICIDE CULT is a performance/installation created by P. Staff. Influenced by the mythology of The Manson Family and teenage suicide cults, queer theory and a fixation on transcending ones' formative years, the queer suicide cult functions as a temporally free fantasy space, both intrinsically referential and obsolete of history, 16 years old and never been kissed before, not yet old enough to drink, never free from who you are but choosing to be removed.
