An exhibition of work by Morley College Advanced Textiles students inspired by Isaac Newton at Westminster Reference Library, the site of his former house.

About

Visit the first floor to see how students have explored a range of themes and ideas around Newton's life and times - from comments by his contempories, alchemy, and 'the clockwork universe', to work dyed with apple bark, maps, and women hidden in the shadow of men.

Morley College Advanced Textiles Workshop is a weekly studio day for people with experience in textiles; enabling discussion and a stimulating environment for the development of creative work . Students choose either to pursue a personal project or take part in focussed  group topics, with termly opportunities for exhibitions.
