GNYP Gallery is delighted to present the new solo exhibition „Monotone“ with works by Iranian artist Habib Farajabadi. It’s his second solo show at Gnyp Gallery which focuses on a new series of his artistic experiments. The opening will take place on September 6th, 2019 from 6 to 9 pm in our gallery space at Knesebeckstraße 96 in Berlin. The exhibition can be viewed till October 20th, 2019.
Habib Farajabadi lives and works in Tehran, Iran. In „Monotone“ he explores abstraction mainly through painting with acrylic on linen, where the color white is always present on colorful soft backgrounds. In his new works the artist plays with different lines, which are forming to geometrical figures or giving the observer impressions of scratches or marks. Farajabadi’s work has been exhibited in Germany, Iran, United Arab Emirates, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy and USA.
