About

In partnership with Film Forum, Lighthouse presents GUIDING LIGHTS: LIFE ON SCREEN, a screening of short films that depict stories and introduce characters less often seen on the big screen, made by or curated by Guiding Lights 8 participants.

With diversity and representation high on the agenda across different continents, creative sectors and social spheres, this is an opportunity to see award-winning films which reflect and celebrate the colourfulness and diversity of life.

The screening will be followed by a discussion with some of the filmmakers, who will explore the issues raised in the films, as well as the broader considerations surrounding on-screen representation.
