Grazia Toderi: Rosso Babele (Babel Red)

f a projects are pleased to announce an exhibition of new video and photographic work by Grazia Toderi. The new projection work Rosso Babele (Babel Red) will be exhibited in the main gallery. The work conjures an image fabricated from a multitude of superimposed and layered urban views, creating an eerie city landscape, an indistinct place, which consists of reddish matter that swarms with lights. Toderi calls this distinct colour of the work Babel Red, describing the tone that shines from the sodium vapour lamps that illuminate streets at night. The tone also prompts profound associations, creating the atmosphere of a contemporary Hades.
