About

As part of DACS' innovative programme of events, we have teamed up with Carroll / Fletcher to bring you a special panel debate around technological innovation within the arts, with a focus on artistic provenance, the rise of digital art and collections, and the empowerment of artists' rights. The event will include a discussion about some of the newest technologies, such as Blockchain, and how they affect the way we create, view, sell and purchase art and will look at the life cycle of digital works of art, as well as conceptual approaches to the subject by contemporary artists.

Please join us for the debate and a light lunch on Friday, 7 October, from 11.30am - 1pm, at Carroll / Fletcher, 56-57 Eastcastle St, London W1W 8EQ

Our esteemed panel of speakers include:

  • Robert Norton, Founder & CEO, Verisart
  • Jonathon Carroll, Founder / Co-Director, Carroll / Fletcher
  • Masha McConaghy, COO, BigchainDB
  • Ruth Catlow, Co-founder / Co-director, Furtherfield
  • Mark Waugh, Head of Research and Innovation, DACS

Event registration and sandwiches will be available from 11.30am. The panel debate will begin at 12 noon. The event is free to attend, but spaces are limited. RSVP by Friday, 30 September to rsvp@dacs.org.uk to reserve your seat.
