About

Presented by Medeia Cohan-Petrolino and Justin Hammond, God is in the Details opens on October 28th 2010 at the freshly refurbished Primo Alonso. In the wake of Frieze week, the curators are keen to resist the pretence and hyperbole that invariably surrounds a group show of such highly regarded emerging artists. The curatorial slant to this project is refreshingly simple - God is in the Details encompasses a wish list of 13 artists working in a variety of disciplines, drawn together through their demonstration of dexterity, craftsmanship and a thorough and meticulous approach to his or her practice. In this instance, small is very beautiful, indeed. The selected artists are: University of the Arts London alumni James Musgrave, James Brooks and Gary Colclough, recent graduates Rose Turner, Tom Cookson, Leah Bradford and Gong Yu, Catlin Art Prize finalist Miyo Yoshida and past winner Alex Ball, Rise Art artist Martin Krolzig, sculptors Erica Dorn and Damien O'Connell and RCA photographer Emma Wieslander.
