To coincide with the centenary of the Russian Revolution, Dr Elizaveta Butakova  from the Courtauld Institute of Art will be giving a lecture on the Russian post war avant-garde and curator of the PAINTINGS FROM SOVIET RUSSIA 1950 – 1980 exhibition here at the Highgate Gallery, John Barkes will be describing his work with members of the Artists’ Union of St Petersburg.
