Rethinking the Modern: Post-War Art in Britain by Chris Stephens- Head of Displays and Lead Curator at Tate Britain, is a talk in conjuction with our current exhibition of The Ealand & Warwick Bequest, Friends through Art. It is a personal selection of significant 20th Century artists of national importance. The collection is largely made up of works by British artists, comprising of painting and sculpture spanning the 1950’s, 1960’s, and 1970’s, featuring renowned artists including Elisabeth Frink, F.E McWilliams, George Kennethson and Patrick Heron.
