Emerging artists of Plymouth College of Art’s new BA (Hons) Painting, Drawing and Printmaking programme invite you to experience the programme’s first degree show FUSE and observe their journeys of artistic discovery and self-development.
About
BA (Hons) Painting, Drawing & Printmaking programme is one of only a few programmes in the UK to offer specialist technical and critical study in painting, drawing and printmaking. We have studied materials and techniques, while also developing and contextualising our own professional practice within the arts.
Many students have already forged strong relationships with local and national arts industry professionals, completed internships and combined to form working groups which will develop beyond the degree programme.
Our special group of students is quite unique bringing a large variety of artists together with a wide ranging skill base, which is why we called the show ‘FUSE’; a fusion of many different styles and tastes – all with one shared passion: a commitment to personal development, rigorous materials-based and process-driven practice in Painting, Drawing and Printmaking.
