About

From scenes and descriptions of market places in Kabul in 1842 to panoramic views of the city of Kandahar taken from the second Anglo-Afghan war of 1878-80, these largely unseen materials provide a glimpse of the communities, customs and history of this mountainous country. A RGS-IBG touring exhibition.
