What happens if an exhibition is created by initiating a chain of invitation from artist to artist, based on inspiration?
About
Private View 6pm - 9pm on Friday 2 August, open to all.
The experiment was started by PZ Gallery’s resident artist, Kleiner Shames. Eight artists were invited to join a show, each of whom invited fellow artists based on who inspires them.
The resulting FRIEND OF A FRIEND exhibition is an eclectic show of works which are all connected by mutual influences and completely contrasted by utter individuality.
The experimental exhibition offers an opportunity to see acclaimed artists, as well as work from both local and distant artists rarely shown in Cornwall.
From oil portraits, to surreal or graphical work, the 18 artists and 28 artworks offer plenty of variety, playfulness and vibrancy.
