The Winter months will heat up with a South American celebration of the life and works of fiery Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. Guests will be taken on a journey of the palate whilst a special Guest Host leads an evening of multi-sensory exploration of muy caliente proportions.
Guest Chef Dhruv Baker, winner of MasterChef 2010 will creatively concoct a menu exploring Kahlo's experiences and artistic expressions, through a Mexican influenced 3-course meal.
The Mexican artist Frida Kahlo (19071954) is now regarded as one of the most significant artists of the twentieth century, drawing upon a diverse range of influences, including Surrealism, ancient Aztec belief, popular Mexican folklore, Eastern philosophy and medical imagery. Throughout her practice, Kahlo has continuously pushed the boundaries and created taboo-breaking subject matter dealing with the frailty of the body, birth, life and death.
The Menu can accommodate any dietary requirements.
