In our monthly series FRAMED, we present an art exhibition by Daniel M Thureau and a musical performance by Tamar Halperin and Guy Sternberg
About
Tamar Halperin is a pianist and harpsichordist from Israel. With a repertoire that ranges over five centuries, she performs worldwide as a soloist and with various chamber groups. While the focus of her activities is baroque music, Tamar is also an enthusiastic performer of classical and contemporary music. She has been composing, arranging and performing jazz, pop, electronic and new classical music.
Guy Sternberg, Born in Israel, studied classical music at the music academy at the Tel-Aviv University, where he specialized in double bass and composition. Alongside his classical music studies , Guy has begun producing electronic, pop, rock and jazz music, first in Israel and later in Germany. Resident of Berlin since 1998, Guy is the founder of Low-Swing Studio and Record Label , which specializes in analogue recording techniques and vinyl productions.
Daniel M Thurau was born in Köthen/Anhalt in 1974 and lives currently in Berlin. He studied law, painting and fine arts in Germany and in the English Channel. With solo exhibitions in London, Copenhagen, Vienna and various cities in Germany and a granted art residency at Backfabrik Berlin, Daniel is the holder of the Emerging Artist Award from the Christa and Nicholas Schües Art Foundation and the Anhaltischer Kunstpreis from the Kreissparkasse Anhalt-Bitterfeld.
