To coincide with the new exhibition, Fragile Edges, artist Fay Collins will be holding this free workshop on the opening day.
Explore abstract reflections and found objects in the pond and puddles of Florence Mine. Fay's focus is on botanicals large and small, especially when they are inverted and distorted in watery places. This informal workshop is about looking and interpreting shape, line and colour as abstract elements and creating marks using feathery plants found in Florence's grounds.
All equipment is provided but please bring an old shirt and waterproofs in case of rain!
