A Kaleidoscope of Diversity

About

Panayiotis Kalorkoti's paintings and monoprints explore the ethos and iconography of Britain's four capital cities and notions of national identity. With immigration ranking high on the current political agenda and the imminent referendum on Scottish independence making headlines, Kalorkoti's work provokes a timely discussion about the nature of unity and diversity in Britain today. The exhibition also features retrospective etchings from Kalorkoti's residencies in Darlington and Hartlepool in the 1980s which will be available to purchase in manageable monthly instalments via the national Arts Council England supported Own Art initiative.
