About

What did you eat yesterday? What will you eat tomorrow? Foodscapes invites you to explore an altered edible landscape that reveals and remixes the everyday realities and rituals of a food poverty charity, greenhouse, bakehouse and kitchen table. DAILY A relay of bread making; new photography exhibition; growing and cooking workshops; discover what Bristol ate yesterday… FRIDAY 21st JUNE, 6-9pm Summer Solstice Salon, hosted by artist Paul Hurley. An evening of poetry and performance, baking and breaking bread, and planting out summer seedlings. Free, but places limited so RSVP to events@kwmc.org.uk GET INVOLVED Tell us what you've eaten today by tweeting #foodscapeskw or texting FOODSCAPES and your answer to 07786 205 227 MORE DETAILS Foodscapes has grown from a collaboration between artist Paul Hurley, Knowle West Media Centre, academic researchers and community partners (a food poverty charity, a growers collective and bread bakers). Together we're investigating social and economic exclusion, food poverty, sustainability and how alternative food systems might engage with these issues. QUESTIONS? Contact Melissa Mean at Knowle West Media Centre on 0117 903 0444.
