Having already achieved cult status with their comic book imprint Nobrow, Sam Arthur & Alex Spiro are now turning their attention to the world of children's picture books, to create an imprint that celebrates print. Flying Eye aims to unite the worlds of traditional children's illustration and writing with cutting edge graphic art and narratives, offering innovative new approaches to this area of publishing whilst championing the concept of the ‘book as art object'. In this exclusive exhibition for the Gallery at Foyles, Sam and Alex will be showing illustrations from their new publications as well as offering a rare chance to see developmental and work in progress drawings from many of the artists involved in Flying Eye.
