About
The Florence Trust is proud to announce our upcoming Summer Exhibition at Saint Saviour’s church, our grade-1 listed residence in Highbury. It is the culmination of our twelve resident artists’ busy year at the Trust. They will be showing the ambitious new work they developed this year and the exhibition will be accompanied by a complimentary full-colour catalogue providing an introduction to each of their practices. The Florence Trust provides a dynamic development programme and studio residency in London for twelve artists each year. The programme is designed to support our artists’ artistic and professional development through mentoring, group critiques, workshops, and tours and is tailored to their personal objectives. Each of our artists commences their year-long studio residency in August in our Grade-1 listed neo-Gothic church in Highbury and the residency culminates in a curated exhibition the following July. The residency is admired for the breadth of artistic practices selected for our programme and this year has been no exception. The exhibition will encompass works in mediums as diverse as drawing and digital programming and our artists hail from all corners of the globe. Together they have created a supportive community, a cohesive group and what looks to be a hugely successful exhibition.
