About
This Christmas we will be celebrating with a screening of The Muppets Christmas Carol, the comedy-musical Muppet adaptation of the classic Dickensian novella.
The Muppets star in this heartwarming tale with Kermit the Frog as Bob Cratchit, Miss Piggy as Emily Cratchit and Gonzo as Charles Dickens – alongside Michael Caine as ‘Mr Humbug’ Ebenezer Scrooge. The story follows Scrooge, a miserly and bitter old man with no thought for anyone but himself. On Christmas Eve he is visited by three ghosts - the spirits of Christmas Past, Christmas Present and Christmas Yet to Come - who each show him the error of his ways.
“Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy are joined by Caine as a hilarious Scrooge in this irresistibly sweet musical adaptation of Dickens’ festive tale” Peter Bradshaw, The Guardian
Prior to the screening we will be guided through an entertaining heritage talk of The Holy Trinity church (the building Fabrica is host to), its Dickensian links and life in Victorian Brighton.
Doors & refreshments open at 4pm for a 4:15pm start. Affordable refreshments and popcorn stand on site.
