Make haste slowly. This classical adage is taken as a beacon to investigate how we look at art and how art triggers our desires, thus moving us, putting us into motion, warping our gaze.
About
Curated by Ji-Yoon Han, this group exhibition will address these questions by selecting works from a private collection whose owner is none other than the "girl splendid in walking", the fictional Gradiva. This exhibition is the result of a new curatorial competition opened to Art History Ph.D. candidates organised by galerie antoine ertaskiran and the department of Art History at the Université de Montréal.
